I'm still here....

Using Adam's computer seems so different. I don't have any of my pictures or anything. I just feel out of place. I could blog or do anything I could on mine, I just don't feel like it. Idk why though. But I figured I should stop by for an update. I'm still here. LOL. Nothing insightful to say though. OUr deck is slowly getting finished. Ugh. It looks good, but I'm ready for it to be done. I can't believe that Sam isn't walking yet. She stands and wobbles and claps all without holding onto anything. Just needs to take that step! Shes getting so big. At her 9 months check up she was 17.14lbs but I just weighed her the other day and she was 18.10. She was sick at her 9 months check. I think that is why she was a little lower. She is fitting into 6-9 month clothes with plenty of room to grow. We just got her 9 month pictures done and the sneek peek was ADORABLE! Can't wait to get the rest of the back. In other news, I am really hoping that we can get the "bully" situation figured out at Cam's school. Its a long story. But there is a bully and he picks on Cam. Friday was grandparents day and so Cam's grandpa and grandma's went to school with him. ONe of his grandma's said that the bully was trying to be right next to Cam but Cam didn't want him to be. Understandable. But after everything she was saying it kind of made me wonder if the bully has actually taking a liking to Cam but because of the way he has been taught by his parents he donen't know how to treat him the correct way. Idk, it makes me feel bad for this kid because I blame the parents. But at 5 years old I also feel that the kid should be able to know better. But still even if he truly does just want to be Cam's friend his actions arn't excused and I am still pursuing them with teh school. Our re-wedding is next weekend. Holy flip. I can't believe that we have been married for a year already. I think to myself a lot as to why I thought we needed to have this "real" wedding. Its been alot of work and Im starting to get stressed out about it. I am scared that I am going to run out of time on the actuall day. We'll see. But I suppose thats it for now. I'll be back when I'm back.

We have lift off!!

Yes folks, we have lift off. Sam is standing alone hands free and unassisted. I'm so happy for her but yet I'm so sad because she is growing so darn fast. I can't upload pix becasue my laptop litteraly snapped in half.  :( I'm using my husbands and I dont know all of the functions. But on the note of his laptop, its HUGE. I think it was the first lap top made its so large! LOL. Can't wait to get my own again. Back on topic. Sam is doing so much now. I haven't updated in a long while. So I need to let you know that Sam is also talking now. She says "Mama" "Dada" "Yea" and I'm pretty sure i've heard a couple other things come out like the attempt of "Puppy" but it wasn't clear and a couple other things. I know I know "Puppy" your thinking I'm crazy. But she carries a stuffed puppy around everywhere with her and she and our 5lb puppy are best friends so she hears "Puppy" all the time. I'm SO proud of her. I have also Intoduced her to a few "real" people foods. I have a pampered chef manual food processer so I put suff in that for her. So far I have tried noodles with alfredo on them "like", apples "maybe" (she would rather me let her suck on an apple wedge while I hold it for her, I think she gets more flavor/juice taht way), CARROTS AND GREENBEANS "LIKE", mashed potatoes "double like", some of my homemade blueberry muffins "like", a few tiny peices of a cinamon roll "like", and I have tried a couple meats chicken and hambuger. The chicken was in the alfredo it was a "like" but the hambuger was a "dislike". Not every day just when we have something that I think is suitable for her. I didn't plan on giving her "real" food this soon, but she was doing great chewing mummum bars, puffs, and yogis. That and I know that when we do this wedding thing in a month we have a few jack ass disrespectful family members who will disreguard our rules and want to feed Sam "real" food. So I want to be the one who feeds it to her first. Also I was concerned that she would not want to go back and forth with baby food, but she is rocking it and could care less about going back and forth! Shes my little champ! So much to do when your so little and growing by the day. 18 lbs 5 oz and 27 3/4 inches. For her latest stats.
Now onto Cam. He is my awesome kindergartener. The first day he took his lunch with his cool new luch box. He came home and told me that kindergarten was boaring! LOL. But he has settled in now and is liking it. He has checked out books from the libary already also. I'm probably just as excited as about the books as he is because it means we get to read something new other than what we've been reading forever. I also appericate that his teached does regular emails to communicate. Although I am not pleased to report than he started off his 2nd weeks at school with an email to mama. He is academically doing awesome his teacher said, but he has disruption issues. They have apples, green yellow and red. They also have worms, each child does. Awarning and they move their worm to yellow and if they continue they go to red and lose play time. Well he went to yellow twice in his second week odf school. Uh oh. But My plan is to bride my child. Is that bad? Its like potty training, I bought a pack of pokemon cards (he loves them) and I intend on giving him one card a week as long as he goes with outchanging his worm for the week untill they are gone and hopefully by that time he is following the rules.How does that sound? Anyways, I will post 1st day of school pictures and pictures of Sam standing unassisted! Thats all for now folks!

Of corse its a Monday!

What a TERRIBLE day. So to start off, I need to say that over the weekend our kitchen sink (which has a disposal) became clogged. So this morning I called the plumbers. They came out around lunch time and ended up going back to the shop to get a bigger snake cuz they couldn't get the clog with the ones they had. Does that tell you where this is going?.... Anyways, the yfinally came back with a bigger one and they still wern't getting it. FINALLY, they thought they got it. I heard a gurgle from the bathroom so I went to check it out. It was just bubbling a little no worries. I had my sister-in law come look at it (she is staying for the week), when she came in it all of a sudden pretty much puked form the drain. It looked like a big roll of solid vomit came out of the sink. NASTY. But I though hey, they got it I can handle cleaning this up if they are leaving now.... So that was it and I left the bathroom to tel them that it had just done that. When I came back to where I was when I first heard the gurgle I heard spilling water.... Yes, It wasn;t un-clogged, it was flooding my bathroom with nasty food scum particle water! GAG! So they quickly stopped. But my make-up drawer had alread been taken victum. :( So onto cleaning that up. I had it soaked up partialy with half the towels in our linen closet. I came out to where the plumbers were and they told me I might have a wet sopt down stairsbecause everytime they did a certian thing it was leaking in a certin stop. I right away went down stairs... And the stood a JIANT puddle half on carpet half on my hard wood! So there went te rest of the towels in my linen closet. Now my wood floor has water damage and I'm pissed. So now onto them FINALLY figuring it out and getting it unclogged..... Well there went my other bathroom.... more food praticles and water on the floor in there. Thank god that its a cement floor.... and no carepts. So now all I have to do is finish cleaning the upstairs bathroom, clean up the kitchen from where they were working. Basically just clean my whole house. Get all the towels and laundry washed, get fans drying the floor downstairs, and thank goodness it was nice enough to have the windows open for soem fresh air today! Because the crap that came up the drains was stinky! My goodness. By the way I want to mention that this went on untill 4 pmm and untill 1pm I had a daycare kid (a 4 month old baby). Thank heavens for my sister-in law Cassy being here to help me! So you think I'm going to say this saga is over for the day...... WRONG!!
For a few hours life was normal, we went to walmart and got a few things. So we came home, My other sister-in law Ashley was here waiting for us. Which I knew she was. She wanted to see Sam, so see began to take her out of her carseat to find out that she crapped ALL OVER. Not just out her diaper, but there was actually chunks of poo in the car seat! At this exact time the dog decides to piss on the floor right in fromt of my feet and then go to the door. So outside he went. His pee remained on the floor as I laid Sma on the hard wood to clean her up. She then got poop all over my floor too. Finally I have her clean so I get up to throw the diaper away and leave her naked cuz I'm going to bathe her. She then peed on the floor also. Pee on the floor day in my house!! So I filled her ub up her aunt put her in there, I cleaned up both of the pee messes and I still have groceries to put away and dinner to make! DAMN!
I am so happy that it's the end of the day. I can only pray that tomarrow will be better. But I am so not looking forward to the bill from the plumbers, because they also used a whole bottle of clog remover stuff. Ugh. So now onto my night. Sam got bathed. Love teh smell of a fresh bthed baby. At this point I have things started for supper. So I'll feed Sam while the water is boiling. Yup, no mind that she just had a bath... Lets smack the spoon and splatter it all over her face! Fun. After she was done and all cleaned up, I am finishing supper. Chicken alfredo. It was yummy. Ok kids to bed after supper is cleaned up. Cam first. PJ's, Story, brush teeth, drink of water, go potty and then bed. Done. Sit down to feed Sam and Cam starts yelling from his room. I ignore it. I fhe really need something he will come out. Nope begings screaming bloody murder. Finally comes out bawling face beat red and sweating. Stating that in the 2 minutes or less of being in his room alone he heard a noise like "ti ti ti" or so from his toys and it "TERRIFIED" him. I spoke to him and said he could leave his door open so he had light and his toys wern't making noice that it was probaly the dryer since its outside his room and it was going. Still bawling he went back to his room. Came out again and this time I was a litte upset. Got him back to bed quietly. Mind you all this time I've been trying to get Sam to nurse. She is beyond distracted. She ate a little, and some nights only does. So I laid her in her crib awake. Most nights this wouldn't bother her and she would quietly go to bed on her own. Tonight not the case, but with a day like it has been why would she? Anyways she cried and then then was quiet.. so then Cam need a kleenex.. So she cries again.... She is quiet... He needs ANOTHER kleenex.... She cries again. He finally stays in bed but she keeps crying. She stopped and then Adam makes a lound noise out side....... Crying again. She is FINALLY actually asleep!! Now to just hop in the shower once Adam is done and its off to bed for me!! Hip hip horay! So glad to sleep in in teh morning and have no daycare!! YAY YAY YAY!!!

Wow! Seeing Cam acts at age 5, I look back and think wow I did that or I acted like that when I was little. Now I know how my parents felt. It can be the littlest thing, but man can it drive me nuts. Like today, I wrestled around with Cam, Tickled the crap outa him, played checkers with him, but he says I still didn't do anything with him. WTH? And in and out a million times. He dosen't want to play outside cuz it's hot. Be a kid, get outside! Please! And he can find EVERY excuse to get out of bed and not go to sleep at night. Some nights it's enough to make me want to put a lock on his door so he can't get out. Just about evey night he has a stomach ache. So now when he really does I won't know if he reallydoes. He cries wolf ALL the time. And the boy next door is 5 years older than him so Cam is a little young for him and he has his own friends around the block. He's freely alloud to ride around the blocks to their houses. Cam dosen't understand why he can't. He also thinks he has to go over to his house EVERY time he goes outside! So trying to make him understand that if Daniell (sp?) isn't outside you don't need to bother him. Cuz really the only time that Daniell wants to play withhim is when his friends arn't wround. I do feel bad for my little boy, but what can I do? But serioulsy, there are so many things that he does and I can remember doing them as a kid and my god do the drive me nuts. So to my parents, I'm sorry for driving you secretly insane! You can't tell me I didn't. LOL.
But on another note, Sam is mobile! She is ofically crawling! So cute to watch, but shes in everything! She is attractd to the dog's bed and toys! I am constantly taking them away from her or moving the dogs bed. She seems to liek his bone. Yuck! I take it away all the time. Its had though, becuse he likes to lay next to her while she plays and chew on it. So then she has prim pickins' to get ahold of it! She has a tooth poking through, but its coming through very wrong. It's on the upper gum like under the upper inside of the lip. So on monday I am taking her to the dentist to have them take a look. But about this tooth, I hate it. Because I felt it in such an odd spot I took her out to the kitchen and laid her on the table to look at it. Well Just then supper boiled over and Adam yelled naughty words so in reaction I turned around (still standing at the end of the table) and jut then Sam (who can also sit her self up from they laying positon) Sat her self up and dove off the end of the table onto our hard wood floor! :( I was terrified!!!!!! Thank god I use to work in the ER and have connections! I called one of teh lifeguard flight nurses right away. Thankfully the only damage was a small red mark on her noggin that went away really fast and a bruise that showed up instantly. Within a few minutes she was giving us smiles and then nursed a little and took a short snooze. Woke up when I got up and then was her happy self the rest of the night and has been since. But man sakes alive was I SCARED! And I felt so TERRIBLE!
Lastly, My best friend Christine had her baby. Jenna Faith Strickler 7-15-11 8:05 am 5lbs 10oz 18 inches. She is SO tiny! Enjoy the pictures!

Babies!

Today I started watching a friends baby boy. He's 3 months old and his name is Raiden. It's actually been a pretty good day. I was able to get my house work done and I'm updating my blog! How bout that! It's been a while since I've blogged, so later on I might think of more to write. But as for schedule, Sam and him are on a pretty simliar schedule. I have to say that I am pretty proud of him, he has to be swaddled to sleep, but I laid him on the floor after I fed them since Sam nurses a little after she eats. And well he put him self to sleep all spralled (sp?) out with no fuss. Sam usually takes a 20 min nap around this time and apparently he is too. His mom didn't say he took one now but she did tell me that he goes to bed around 730 so I hope this unplanned nap dosen't effect him tonight. But even though it's been a good day, tomarrow will be the test. I'll have 4 more kids to add to the 3 I have today. Oh joy. LOL

Anyways, it's been going well. Yesterday we went shopping and Cam didn't want to go. We had to go to Dubuque since Adam felt sick yesterday morning and didn't go to work we couldn't go to CR. So Cam went to spend a lil extra time with his dad. We bought a new jumperoo for Sam so I can have one on both floors of the house. I use to not stay downstairs with my cousion (who I do daycare for) but after Friday, I have to. The oldest felt the need to sit in the baby swing, needless to say, 90lbs is to heavy. I was pissed. When I told his dad I assumed I should have a little extra added to my weekly pay, but no. Again, pissed I was. So, yes I have to stay down there now.

Since I will be staying down there, We moved the desk in to the back room and made a lil office. It's quite nice. I like it. So now the whole finished part is all toys. Toys,toys, and more toys. I set up 3 pack n plays for naps and I have a vib. chair, a jumperoo, and a portable swing down there for the babies. Its very "daycare" like.

the title says it all! I' so glad it's friday and that its a long weekend. I was about to go insane today with my daycare kids (who are my cousions). Theoldest and Cam fight fight fight, and when Cam tells me something that happened the oldest says no I didn't or no that didn't happen. So basically Owen was saying Cam was a liying all day. I don't buy it. And the youngest two had bad attitudes. PLus Sam woke up on the needy side of the crib. Yes there are one of those, she wants me to hold her constantly today. So then during nap the youngest of the boys, Quinn peeded thruough his pull up all over my couch. Lovely huh! So their dad brought their swim stuff so I got the sprinkler and slip n slide out and got 5 kids ready to go outside, only to be out there for 30 minutes and have them say they wanted to come in. Are you kidding me? I was pissed. But speaking of water and outside, I had their dad bring their little tykes sprinkle ball yesterday and I think its broken, its sucks... The inside of the ball filled with water and the only way to get it out is to squeeze the spout you blow it up with. Forget that! I'm ready to pop it and buy them a new one! LOL. So yea pretty much I'm so glad its the weekend. I am sad though that Cam had to go. I feel like since I had the other boys 3 days in a row I missed out on time with him and he was in not so great moods. I sure hope he has a grerat 4th of July weekend. I love him so much!!! And like I mentioned 3 days in a row, thats not normal, thank god Adam had Thursday off, cuz they came and I had Sams pix scheduled that morning. What a mess. While I was gone he put a little swimmer on Quinn for a pull up (he didn't know it wasn't a pull up though) But he peeded through it and got pee everywhere. Ugh. Its been a long week. Have a good 4th!

I love a clean house!!!

The night before last while I was in the shower I felt the need to clean and I kept thinking about all of the things that I should clean the next day. So yestrday I woke up and I was in major cleaning mode. I didn't think I would actually want to clean like I thought the night before. But I got right to it. I called my sister-in-law and had her come over for the day. She helped withthe kids so I could just keep on cleaning. I only had to stop to feed Sam. It was great. I got everything done. I swept n mopped  all the hard surface floors, bleeched the bathroom, vaccumed carpets, organized the toy room, organized the storage room even!, LOL. I also got all of the laundry done, plus Cassy stayed here with the kids while I went and bought groceries ALONE! Isn't that what every mom wants? A trip to the store without the whole family? LOL. Sams new high chair came yesterday too! She seems to like it a lot! It matches the colors in the kitchen really well. But I think its time for me to end for the day. The computer screen is going haywire.... Can't wait to get a new one!
